Andrew has had some woodworking projects on the go these past few months. He has made a few cutting boards and crokinole boards for gifts and for sale.  He has spent many hours researching and creating these quality products! His business name is By Derksen. Please see the pictures below:

Levi decided that he wanted every day to be Victoria Day so he made a big plan. Victoria was over for the weekend but he made arrangements with her parents to ask her to head home early yesterday afternoon. As soon as she was out the door, he got ready and followed her back to Kindersley. Meanwhile as soon as she got home, her sister got her to go up on a hill for some pictures for her work. Levi walked up the hill and surprised her!

Victoria was totally surprised to see Levi!!

What a win-win-win situation! Andrew recently participated in a month long Read-a-thon. Not only did he read 1656 pages from 26 books (15 of which were books of the Bible), but he also raised funds for Gospel Echoes and won one of the 3 grand prize bikes! He was able to sell his old bike to his brother whose bike had been stolen. Gospel Echoes raised almost $18,000 to supply Bible study materials in prisons. At the closing pizza party, a young man shared how he had become a Christian in prison and his whole life had been turned around. The Lord used the ministry of Gospel Echoes to make this happen. That is the biggest win that this whole venture has in the long run!

On January 7th, 2017, Joshua married Shaylyn Fehr.

It was  -20ish but everyone braved the cold so well!!
