About a week and a half ago, the older guys received the carrot harvester they purchased from a farmer in P.E.I., as, Lord willing, they will have multiplied increases of carrots. The Carrot Harvester IMG_7043 IMG_7044

We need to pray for rain as smoke from forest fires up north has been around the past few days. Many people have been evacuated and some have lost their homes to the fires.

Happy Canada Day!

Today, in the great celebrations of this grand day, we are…

Hoeing Potatoes!

Hilling Potatoes!

While we remember our last Canada Day adventure- climbing the volcanic Mt. St. Helens!

Happy Canada Day!

Now for a bit of a history lesson:

July 1st was christened Dominion Day at Confederation. It was taken from Psalms 72: 8

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Sadly, in 1982, Dominion Day was changed to Canada Day. This change sneaked in right before the summer recess on a Friday afternoon, when there were only about 13 members present in Parliament, 7 short of the official quorum. The result was one more way Canada is turning away from the LORD!

Here is a story I wrote about the sea container.

Conceptualize a whopping thundering tractor motor into your yard and pitch a rusty 53 foot insulated receptacle on your grounds and then compel you to dish out $... Well, that's what happened on June 16th. The senescent guys bought it for storing carrots.
Jesse had been poking around at ways for storing carrots because the existing facilities were getting to unpretentious for their firm, inasmuch as the shop has a processing chamber. Jesse ran across a 53’ insulated sea container and the levy came across good so they procured it.
They ordered it through a chap in Montreal and then got it rolled in to Saskatoon, nonetheless one phenomenon came into the way, they thought it was a place in Saskatoon and they didn’t know if they would pay for it to come to Rosthern. But it all got cleared up at 12:45 when we got a phone call from the fella who had it at the gas station at Rosthern!
The fella conveyed it to the end of the driveway and stopped, then we came and gave him two options of where to drive. He picked going down the trail and driving across the carrot patch. Once he had done so, he backed up to the place where the guys had chosen to get it pitched, took off the straps, and remotely controlled the tires farther up the trailer and then lifted the trailer so the crate would come off, he then drove off with the check in front of his eyes!
I anticipate this container will work kindly for the guys!
