Blooming Orchards

Our orchards are just finishing up the blooming stage. After no cherry crop last year, it was nice to see all the flowers on the trees.

The apple orchard. Even though it doesn’t look like much, the trees were pretty full of blooms this year.

Someone set up a bee hive in our orchard, so the bees were pouring in and out of it the past few weeks.

Wildlife around the yard.

Hundreds of Fur Balls

Last Thursday we suddenly found out that our baby chicks would be arriving a week early. We scrambled to get ready, and on Friday Jesse went and picked up hundreds of cute littleĀ  fur balls.

Praying, or…sleeping?

New Shed

This fall we decided to take down our old cover-all and build a replacement shed. We are making the replacement a bit larger so that we can fit a few more things!

The cover-all.

Taking down the cover-all. Some people don’t seem to like being in pictures.

The new base. We decided to put it on skids.

Some of the walls up.

The final wall and the rafters up.

Some sheeting.

Shingling.

Windows.

Garage door, siding and soffit and fascia.

And the final product! Praise the Lord!
